Container accessories
The add-ons that make a used container work as storage: a lock the bolt cutters cannot reach, vents so the inside does not sweat, lights, shelving, jacks to level it. Add them on any container order; they ship separately by parcel, and the price shown includes that shipping.
Which ones matter
- Lock box and puck padlock. A steel shroud over a hidden-shackle lock so bolt cutters cannot reach it. Theft from an on-site container is the most common loss, and this is the cheapest fix.
- Vents. A sealed steel box sweats when the temperature swings. A pair of louvered vents keeps air moving and is the difference between dry and musty for furniture, paper and fabric.
- Leveling jack and blocks. Doors swing and latch properly only when the box is level. A 6-ton bottle jack and a few blocks fix a sloped pad.
- Shelving brackets. Hang on the corrugation without drilling; put your own lumber across them.
